Sled Construction

Submit your ideas and be part of the 'construction team'  Must be part of the construction team in order to ride on the sled at Snow Camp.

Come with us as we head north for SNOW CAMP  A weekend for 7th - 12th graders filled with competitions, activities, and biblical perspectives on tough issues teens face. 

Cost:  $125 for one teen,  $100 each for 2 teens, $75 each for 3 or more
 
83 Spots Available...To reserve your spot, submit the following forms to Ruth Davis or TJ Walsh with a $40.00 deposit.
 
Please submit the following before January 8th.  Any forms not returned by this date may result in you being placed on the waiting list:
 
2.  Snow Camp Registration (must include immunization dates)

***Please Note*** There is a Medication Form that is part of the Snow Camp Registration Form above.  In order for any medication to be administered by the Snow Camp medical staff, this form must be completed and signed by a physician.  If your teen has medication that they take on a regular basis and will be bringing with them, the Medication Form must include those prescriptions (including inhalers).  All meds listed on this form that a teen brings with them to Snow Camp, must be checked in upon arrival at Snow Camp.

Departure:  Friday, February 17th 11am from the church 
 Arrive at church by 10:15 am

Return: Sunday, February 19th approx 5pm. Dinner will be provided, then we will share our weekend experiences at the 6pm evening service.  Please plan on joining us.  Service ends approx. 7pm

 

 

Please be sure all items are clearly tagged with YOUR NAME and GREEN POND BIBLE CHAPEL.  There is a limit to:
 
  • ONE large bag (no longer than 35")
  • ONE small carry-on (this will be on the bus)
  • A sleeping bag/pillow rolled up.

 

                   WHAT TO BRING                                 

  • Bag lunch for the bus ride up to Snow Camp
  • Pillow and Sleeping Bag
  • Warm Clothes (it will be very cold)
  • GYM clothes (shorts/sneakers/t-shirt) for

     indoor games (basketball, Volleyball, etc.)

  • Boots, Gloves, Scarf, etc

  • Towel and toiletries

  • FlashlightMoney for optional activities, snack shack , Sports Café and bookstore

  • All medicine must be in original container and must be authorized by a physician on "Individual Medication  Order Form" provided in registration paperwork.  ***Important...any camper bringing authorized medications must put them in a Ziploc baggie and kept in your carry on bag so it can be checked in upon arrival.

  • Bible and Notebook

  • Snacks for the bus and in the cabins are fine

    but please only screw top beverages so they

    can be closed securely to avoid spilling

     

 

      WHAT NOT TO BRING       

  • Cell phones
  • I-Pods or portable cd players
  • Electronic game devices
  • Valuables
  • Illegal substances

 

(any camper found with any items listed above must surrender the item and/or may be asked to leave camp)
